NORFOLK FAMILY SEARCH
Ancestors from Norfolk

I can search local records held at the Norfolk Record Office, Norfolk Heritage Centre, Norfolk Family History Society Library, Norfolk Family History Centre, University of East Anglia Library, Great Yarmouth Library, King’s Lynn Library and the Wisbech and Fenland Museum.

The kinds of records which I would commonly use to investigate a family history include parish registers, census returns, wills and other probate records, civil registration indexes, poor law records, old maps, trade directories, cemetery records, newspapers, electoral registers, court records, photographic collections and many more.

My experience of working for the Norfolk Record Office means that I know the right records to search to uncover more about your family’s past. I can also add to your family history by providing photographs of the places where your ancestors lived and worked. Click here to find out more about this service

If your ancestors strayed across the borders into neighbouring counties, I am willing to travel to Suffolk and Cambridgeshire to undertake research there. Click here for Ancestors Elsewhere in the UK to find out more.
